Private RV sites in Pacific Northwest

Private RV sites: Pacific Northwest

Washington and Oregon west of the Cascades: small farms in green valleys, clearings in Douglas-fir, and river-bottom land an hour from the coast. East of the mountains it is a different, drier country of wheat farms and high-desert homesteads.

$40–70 / night · typical host rates Electric + water typical Fits rigs up to 40 ft

Typical hookups

30-amp electric and water are typical in the valleys; some forest clearings are dry. Sewer is rare. Hosts will warn you about winter ground softness, because they've pulled someone out.

Rig size notes

Most valley sites take 40 feet. Forest lanes and coastal-highway approaches need a check for the longest rigs.

Good to know

Rain season runs roughly October through April west of the Cascades — gravel pads matter, because grass pads go soft. Summer and early fall are superb and book accordingly.
