Terms of Service

The deal, in plain language. Last updated October 20, 2026.

What this site is

Private RV Sites is a directory. We help RV travelers and private landowners find each other — we are not a campground, not a booking agent, and not a party to any stay. Stays are arranged directly between the guest and the host, and payment for stays happens between them, never through this site.

Hosts agree to

  • List only land they own or are authorized to offer.
  • Describe the site honestly — pad, hookups, limits, and price.
  • Follow their local laws: zoning, permits, lodging taxes, and any rules about RV stays on private land are the host's responsibility.
  • Hold the right to use any photo they upload, and grant us the right to display it with the listing.

Guests agree to

  • Follow each host's stated rules and leave the site as they found it.
  • Understand that details in area guides are typical, not guaranteed — the host's word on a specific site is final.

Accounts and listings

  • Listing a site is free — and stays free. We may edit a listing for clarity or remove one that is inaccurate, unlawful, or not a private site.
  • Keep your account credentials to yourself; you're responsible for activity under your account.

Sponsorships

Sponsor placements are advertising. They are billed monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled any time; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Placement doesn't imply our endorsement of a sponsor's products, and sponsorship doesn't change how listings are ranked or shown.

Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Private RV Sites is not liable for stays arranged through the directory, for injuries or property damage connected to a stay, or for losses arising from listings, guides, or outage of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
